My love of photography dates back to my early childhood when I experimented with my Fisher Price 35 mm camera. I took my camera and extra film with me everywhere, shooting pictures of events and portraits of friends. During high school, I documented the year's events in words and pictures and used darkroom techniques to print my own photos as a member of the yearbook staff.
I graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor of arts in journalism in 2003. While serving as editor of Focus, the campus magazine, and as editor of various sections of the Round Up yearbook, I learned to edit digital photos and select the highest quality of photos for print publications.
In 2007 I used my photography hobby to start my own business, which evolved from friends and relatives seeking me out to photograph engagements, weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. I expanded my photography to include portraits, nature, scenery, events and architecture. I enjoy honing my creative skills to construct beautiful portraits and drawing from my journalism background to capture candid photos from every angle.
If you have an event, a loved one, a favorite pet, a special place or an activity that you want to remember forever, I can capture it for you using my digital Canon.
